EXPEDITION SUMMARY

12 days to explore the beauty of Kakadu and West Arnhem Land. Not many people get to experience the Cobourg Peninsula, one of the most northern and remote parts of Australia. What better way to start than a Fishing Charter on the Mary River to chase barramundi. Then it’s off to Cooinda and the beauty of Yellow Waters. Visit Jim Jim Falls and Jabiru before making our way across Cahills Crossing – famous for crocodiles, enroute to Mount Borradaile and Davidsons Safaris. From there it’s into Garig Gunak Barlu National Park where we’ll explore everything we can find. Fantastic fishing opportunities to launch the tinny. We’ll also get a genuine immersive experience into the cultural history of this remote land. A private charter flight is arranged from the Cobourg Peninsula back to Darwin to cap off a spectacular journey. This is a unique experience that will create an everlasting expedition memory.

Not many people get to experience the Cobourg Peninsula in their lifetime. This is a once in a lifetime experience combining the absolute beauty of Kakadu with the remoteness of West Arnhem Land.
No camping experience is necessary, just a desire to experience camp life under the stars.
A medium level of fitness will be required together with a willingness to jump in and lend a hand.
The best time to visit this region of Australia is during the dry season.
This is not a ‘Boys Only adventure’. Couples and Singles are welcome.
